Okay, so I think it’s fairly obvious at this point that I’m not exactly great at maintaining a regular, frequent blogging schedule. Like, at all lol.
That, and well….life’s about to get crazy. I’m picking up and moving again in five days, and I’ve spent the past….however many weeks since my last post…getting ready for my family reunion, which we hosted yesterday. I’ll be packing all this week, then leaving for Virginia on Friday, spending the weekend at the beach with my family, and then shipping off to Charlottesville to start my job next Tuesday. Whew!
Obviously life is about to get busy. But that’s not really why I’m foregoing the blog. Plenty of people are as busy or busier than me and still blog every day….I could do it if I wanted to.
The point is that I don’t really want to. The more I think about it, the more I realize….I don’t really have an answer to the “why do you blog?” question. I don’t even know why I blog. I don’t even have a theme to my blog. Like…..eh? And the more I think about it, the more I realize that even if I were fully able to run and compete….I wouldn’t really care to blog about it.
Long story short? I would rather spend the extra time living my life, not talking about it.
So….given that I can’t find a reason on this earth to continue my blog, I think I’m going to indefinitely call it a rest. I’ll leave this post up for a few days but then I will probably be deleting it….there’s no point in keeping this thing around. As for reading YOUR blogs, that I do enjoy doing…..however once grad school starts, I’ll be honest, that will be the LAST thing on my priority list. I will be taking 14 credits, a research practical, and will be working 20+ hours a week….and I want to make new friends and keep in touch with my old friends. I do apologize, but I don’t intend to make an effort in making time to read blogs.
THAT SAID, I’ve made a lot of great friends through this blog and I don’t intend to lose touch with you all! I really do hope to meet up with some of you Virginia gals, and we all know I’m addicted to Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook…..those I will likely still be fairly active with.
So. Goodbye to blogging about my life, hello to more time living it.
